Astro Tool is best known for our bodymaker rams.

We use only 1 source for material, heat treating,

chrome plating, ceramic and carbide coating

to control quality and costs.

Besides manufacturing new rams, Astro Tool also provides a

complete rebuilding service for any type of ram. A complete rebuild is as follows:

1. inspect (at no cost to the customer)

2. grind all precision diameters undersize

3. chrome plate, or ceramic coat, or carbide coat all precision

diameters oversize

4. grind back into original tolerances

5. final inspection
